The Hyundai Verna remains one of the safest sedans in the Indian market, having earned a 5-star rating from Global NCAP for both adult and child occupant safety. For 2025, Hyundai has updated the Verna, introducing two new variants and enhancing its feature set, making it even more appealing to customers.
The 2025 Hyundai Verna 1.5 Turbo S(O) DCT is the most affordable dual-clutch transmission (DCT) variant in the lineup, priced at Rs 15.27 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant comes with premium features such as a sunroof, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, a wireless charger, and a rear camera with guidelines. Additionally, the Verna 1.5 Turbo S(O) DCT sports all-black 16-inch alloy wheels and red front brake calipers, giving it a sportier look.
Another new addition to the 2025 Verna lineup is the 1.5 Petrol S IVT. This variant is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine and comes paired with a CVT gearbox, providing a smooth driving experience without sacrificing fuel efficiency. It also boasts features like a sunroof, three driving modes (Eco, Normal, and Sport), and paddle shifters for an engaging drive.
The 2025 Hyundai Verna is offered with two engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol. The naturally aspirated petrol variants are priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 16.29 lakh, while the turbo variants are available from Rs 14.93 lakh to Rs 17.48 lakh (both ex-showroom Delhi). Along with the new variants, Hyundai has also updated the Verna’s existing trims to enhance value and convenience for customers.
Hyundai continues to strengthen the Verna’s position in the competitive sedan segment with these updates, offering a blend of safety, luxury, and performance.
