Reports state that the couple missed three court hearings prior to their case being settled on November 27, 2024.

Though the exact reasons of their separation remain personal, sources close to the family highlight in the process mutual respect and understanding. Dhanush and Aishwarya have promised to co-parent their sons such that their personal choices have no impact on the welfare of their children.
