Punjab’s Senior Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson, Marriyum Aurangzeb, has alleged that Ali Amin Gandapur’s removal from his position as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s provincial president was due to complaints from Bushra Bibi, the wife of PTI Chairman Imran Khan. She criticized Imran Khan for prioritizing personal interests over loyalty, stating that he has a history of using individuals for his objectives and discarding them when they are no longer beneficial. Aurangzeb cited examples of other individuals she claims have been treated similarly by Khan, including Jahangir Tareen, Aleem Khan, and Akbar Babar. She urged the public to recognize Khan’s nature and avoid participating in what she described as future conspiracies against the state. This follows PTI’s recent announcement of Gandapur stepping down to focus on his responsibilities as Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, with Junaid Akbar appointed as his successor.
