DEKHO Film Fest crew, and Pakistani film legends showed up to celebrate at the Dinner arranged by Writer Amna Mufti
The DEKHO Film Festival might be done for now, but the good vibes are still going strong. Writer Amna Mufti (you know, she’s kind of a big deal) threw a special dinner to thank the DEKHO Film Fest’s main team. She wanted to shout out their hard work and vision that really made the whole thing a hit.
It wasn’t just a regular after-party. It was all about celebrating creativity, teamwork, and what’s next for Pakistani movies.

Dinner with a Side of Awesome
The dinner felt warm and buzzing with conversation. Amna Mufti is all about stories and culture, so she brought together some important people from Pakistani film and schools to recognize what the festival did.
Basically, she wanted to show that the people who make these cultural events happen deserve some love.

Film and School Big Shots Came Out
Some really respected names in Pakistani film and education were at the dinner. Syed Noor, a film director legend, was there. Shahzad Rafiq from the Pakistan Film Producers Association also came. That showed how much the industry supported DEKHO’s goals.
Senior producer Safdar Malik was there, and from the schools, there was Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Khaled Mahmood and Chairperson Dr. Lubna Zaheer, plus some faculty like Dr. Sobia Abid. It was cool to see the festival connect with schools and creative people.

Saima Noor Brought the Star Power
Saima Noor, who’s a super famous movie star, stopped by to say congrats to the DEKHO team. It was awesome to see her there, connecting different eras of Pakistani film and showing that the festival matters to the whole industry.
She hung out with the team, making it feel like everyone was celebrating together – what they’ve done and what they’ll do next.
More Than Just a Show: It’s a Shared Dream
DEKHO Film Festival wasn’t just about showing movies or fancy red carpets. It was about stories, showing different voices, and helping new filmmakers. The dinner was all about that too. People were talking about their favorite memories, what they learned, and feeling ready to keep building places where filmmakers can shine.
The point was that DEKHO is going to keep going, built on working together and feeling good about our culture.
Looking Ahead, Feeling Good
By the end of the night, it was clear: the DEKHO Film Festival worked because everyone believed in it. Amna Mufti’s dinner was a reminder that cool cultural stuff happens when artists, the film industry, and schools all get together.
So, the DEKHO adventure continues – with everyone feeling excited and ready to bring new stories to life.
