The Let Me Fly workshop at Lahore Arts Council Al Hamra was all about kite making, celebrating Basant
Lahore’s culture was on display again at Al Hamra with a cool workshop called Let Me Fly. It mixed old-school kite culture with new art ideas, giving everyone a place to get creative.
Al Hamra Chairman Razi Ahmed and Executive Director Muhammad Nawaz Gondal kicked things off. It wasn’t just about making kites but also about Basant and our traditions.

Playwright Shahid Nadeem said we should celebrate Basant the right way. He said that making kites, doing theater, and making art can all tell stories and help people be free to create.
