Punjab Government Declares Winter Break
The Punjab government has officially announced the winter vacation schedule for all schools and colleges in the province. According to a notification issued by the Punjab School Education Department, the winter vacations in Punjab will begin on December 20 and continue until January 10, 2025. This break applies to both public and private educational institutions across the province.

The notification further clarified that schools and colleges will reopen on Monday, January 13, 2025, following the winter break. However, it is important to note that the restrictions regarding the wearing of face masks within school premises will remain in effect during the vacation period and after schools reopen.
Similar Winter Break in Sindh
In a similar move, the Sindh Education Department has also announced its winter vacation schedule for educational institutions in the province. Schools in Sindh will be closed from December 22 to 31, with institutions reopening on January 1, 2024.
