A Poetic Journey Towards Equality on Human Rights Day Celebrating Humanity Through Poetry
In a fitting tribute to Human Rights Day, OLOLOMOPOLO Media, under the influence of Olomopolo Media CEO Kanwal Khoosat, in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union to Pakistan and the Embassy of the Republic of Ireland, launched an amazing initiative One to All: Voices of Resilience*. This poetry project brought together the rich cultural tapestry of Pakistan through the resonating voices of 10 emerging poets from all over the country.
A Symphony of Voices
This program used to be a coming together of human rights, equality, and cultural harmony superbly woven together in six languages Balochi, Pashto, Urdu, English, Sindhi, and Punjabi. These languages now not only represent Pakistan’s linguistic diversity but also its collective voice crying for a world where equality is above all.
The poets, chosen after an intensive selection process, shared their unique work that surpassed the limitations of languages and echoed the standard name for human dignity and justice.
Mentorship That Transformed Passion into Purpose
The poetic journey of these 10 voices was earlier nourished under the mentorship of literary stalwarts Kashif Raza and Farjad Nabi. Their practice imbued the young poets with a greater understanding of how words can become potent tools for change.
This collaboration highlighted the importance of mentorship in equipping younger artists to voice their vision for a more inclusive world.
A Night of Poetic Reverence
The very essence of the ecosystem once upon a time was electrified by the ardent words of the poets and the tenacity of their message as they carried out their works.
