The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports has significantly expanded its ‘Fast Track’ passport service, aiming to enhance accessibility and speed for citizens seeking expedited passport processing. Initially available in just seven major cities—Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta—the service has now been extended to 47 cities across Pakistan.
With this latest expansion, 26 additional cities are now included in the Fast Track network, bringing the total to 47. The new locations include Attock, Haripur, Chakwal, Batkhela, Sargodha, Swabi, Bhalwal, Nowshera, Hafizabad, Karak, Mianwali, Mansehra, Bhakar, Muzaffarabad, Kohat, Mirpur (AJK), DI Khan, Bagh, Swat, Rawalakot, Abbottabad, Kotli, Bannu, Sudhanoti, Hangu, and Bhimber.
This move is part of an ongoing effort by the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports to streamline the passport application process, providing a faster and more efficient service to citizens in these newly added regions. The expansion is expected to significantly reduce wait times and make passport processing more convenient for a larger portion of the population, ultimately improving public satisfaction with passport services.
