He reminded everyone that authorities named the stadium after his father through a formal resolution. This resolution was passed by the Peshawar Municipal Committee.

Arbab Shehzad questioned whether the government consulted Imran Khan before renaming the stadium. He emphasized Khan’s past stance on this issue.
In 2013, Imran Khan led a resolution preventing roads or buildings from being named after living individuals. This rule should still apply.
