CDNS announces the next date and time for the Rs25,000 prize bond draw.
The grand prize is worth Rs30 million, with five additional prizes of Rs10 million each and 700 prizes of Rs300,000 each.
The Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS), a division of the State Bank of Pakistan, announced that the National Savings Centre in Quetta will host the next draw for the Rs25,000 prize bond on December 10, 2024.
The grand prize is worth Rs30 million, with five additional prizes of Rs10 million each and 700 prizes of Rs300,000 each.
Prize bonds have been a way to save money since the 1960s, and millions of people in Pakistan still trust them as an investment because they offer both safety and availability. CDNS manages these bonds, which not only generate revenue for the government but also serve as a means of saving for individuals.
The last draw for a Rs100 prize bond was on November 15, 2024, in Multan. The winner was bond number 633542, who won the first prize of Rs700,000. Bond numbers 589006, 881670, and 163958 all won second prizes of Rs200,000 each.
Prize bonds are still the best option for investors who want to get regular returns through quarterly draws. The money from the draws also helps fund national financial projects.
