The price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs. 1,346, reaching Rs. 300,046 on Friday, compared to Rs. 298,700 on the previous day.
This marks the first time in history that gold prices have crossed the Rs. 300,000 per tola milestone, according to the Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

Additionally, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs. 1,154, reaching Rs. 257,241 from Rs. 256,087, while 22-karat gold increased.
The cost of 10-gram 22-karat gold climbed to Rs. 235,812 from Rs. 234,754, reflecting the continued rise in gold rates across local markets.
Furthermore, silver prices also experienced an increase, with per tola silver rising by Rs. 51, bringing the new price to Rs. 3,378.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of silver went up by Rs. 44, reaching Rs. 2,896, following the steady upward trend in precious metal values.
Meanwhile, on the international market, gold prices climbed by $10, reaching $2,869 from the previous rate of $2,859, as per the Association’s report.
