ICC Rankings Update | Abbas Afridi and Saim Ayub Shine Bright

Pakistani players have made significant strides in the latest ICC rankings released on Wednesday, with Abbas Afridi and Saim Ayub leading the way following Pakistan’s victorious series against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo.

Abbas Afridi, Pakistan’s rising bowling talent, made a notable leap in the T20I rankings for bowlers. He climbed 20 spots to secure the 61st position, a testament to his impressive performances in recent matches. His growth showcases his potential as a key player in Pakistan’s bowling lineup.

Meanwhile, Saim Ayub, known for his hard-hitting style, jumped 12 spots to claim the 78th position in the ODI batting rankings and soared 39 places to secure the 119th spot for T20I batters. His big scores over the past week have caught the cricketing world’s attention.

    Other Highlights

While Abbas Afridi and Saim Ayub made headlines for their improvements, Zimbabwe’s veteran Sikandar Raza also rose in the rankings, moving up six spots to 40th among ODI bowlers.

Australia’s Travis Head maintains his dominance as the No. 1 T20I batter, while Pakistan’s Babar Azam continues to lead the ODI batting rankings, reinforcing his position as one of the best in the game.

    Rising Stars in Test Cricket
