The 12th International Defense Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2024 will start on Tuesday, November 19, at the EXPO Center in Karachi. It will run for four days.IDEAS 2024 will be held at the Karachi Expo Center from November 19–22.
The Ministry of Defense and the Defense Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) are getting ready for it. The event’s goals are to show off Pakistan’s ancient and modern defense skills while also building relationships between countries.
In honor of IDEAS 2024, schools will close for four holidays. The show highlights the importance of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) in strengthening Pakistan’s defense industry and establishing its global presence. The exhibition will showcase a wide range of cutting-edge defense gear. Fighter jets, helicopters, military ships, subs, and advanced drone systems are just some of the things that people can expect to see.
Pakistan will showcase its growing technological skills in defense production. Which includes advancements in rocket technology, cyber defense, satellite systems, and electronic warfare. The government of Pakistan values these innovations, seeing the event as a platform to support its arms trade. Numerous officials attend the show to promote and strengthen the nation’s defense industry. IDEAS, first launched in 2000, aims to boost Pakistan’s arms production sector. Also, it gave foreign companies a chance to show how their products could help Pakistan’s three armed forces.
