Following a decade-long break, the Lahore High Court (LHC) has admitted Justice Abhar Gul Khan as an additional judge, becoming the 2d woman currently in the judiciary of the court, along with Chief Justice Aalia Neelum.
A Trailblazer’s Journey
Born in Lahore in 1972, Justice Abhar Gul Khan started her felony career with an LLB from Punjab University in 1995, witnessed through an LLM in 1998. Her commitment and knowledge guided her through a series judicial positions, including civil judge, senior civil judge, extra classes judge, and periods judge. In July 2024, she set records as the first lady to be appointed Registrar of the LHC, showcasing her commitment to justice and administrative excellence.
