PCB Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi has assured the fans that everything regarding the preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, to be played between February 19 and March 9, is going on track. Main improvements in all venues like Karachi’s National Stadium involve new score screens and LED lights for an improved experience during match days.
However, uncertainty looms over the event as India refuses to send its team to Pakistan and delays the schedule of the tournament. The hybrid model proposing neutral venues for the Pakistan-India matches is under consideration, but no agreement has been reached.
Naqvi remains optimistic, claiming that infrastructure improvements for ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be at par with global standards, and the tournament will be memorable despite the political challenges.
