Pakistan Forces Foil Deadly Indian-Backed Attack At Wana Cadet College

Pakistani Security Forces bravely repelled a major terrorist attack on Wana Cadet College in South Waziristan!

In the tranquil valleys of South Waziristan, the peace was shattered on a serene Monday morning when terrorists launched an onslaught on Wana Cadet College—one of the main military educational institutions in Pakistan. According to ISPR, this attack was mounted by militants affiliated with the Indian-backed proxy group Fitna al-Khwarij. The terrorists stormed the premises, initiating what the officials termed a “heinous and cowardly act of terrorism.”

The attackers, who are believed to have crossed from Afghanistan, attempted to breach the perimeter of the college using a vehicle-borne explosive device (VBIED). This explosion, at the main gate, caused huge structural damage but failed to break the resolve of the defenders.

Response of Security Forces of Pakistan

As soon as chaos erupted, Pakistan Army’s Quick Response Force immediately engaged the attackers. It neutralized two terrorists on the spot and three others were trapped inside the administrative block. According to military sources, these remaining attackers are in constant contact with their handlers in Afghanistan-an alarming reminder of the external orchestration behind this violence.

The area was quickly sealed off, and clearance operations are still underway as part of the ongoing counter-terror campaign ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’, which aims to uproot terrorism from the region once and for all.

    Indian-Backed Proxies and Cross-Border Terror

The ISPR’s statement pinpointed Indian involvement in this attack directly by referring to these terrorists as “Khwarij elements” directed by Indian intelligence. The terrorists were part of a larger pattern of cross-border terrorism originating from Afghanistan, an evolving threat since 2021.

Pakistan has for years accused India of funding and arming militant factions operating from Afghan soil, destabilizing Pakistan’ western border areas. This latest incident at Wana Cadet College only strengthens those claims, highlighting the persistent network of proxy warfare in the region.

    Right of Reply from Pakistan

The statement in firm words from the ISPR included that Pakistan reserves the right to response against the terrorists and also their leadership operating from Afghanistan. With that, the statement hints that the retaliatory action may follow from Pakistan when its crackdown under Azm-e-Istehkam operation is intensified.

While the security forces have faced repeated cross-border incursions and terrorist ambushes that have resulted in the loss of hundreds of lives, each attack has strengthened the resolve of Pakistan to root out terrorism in all its forms.

    Echoes of Bravery Amid Fear

The Wana Cadet College incident, which has once again sent shockwaves about the resurgence of terrorism in the country, also revealed the unwavering courage of Pakistan’s defenders. It shows that students and faculty were evacuated quickly and no major civilian casualties have been reported due to prompt action by the armed forces.

It has been an attack that warns and rallies at the same time. The shadows of militancy are still there, but all has not been lost on Pakistan in terms of peace and sovereignty. The nation stands united with its forces as security operations continue, undaunted by fear and driven by resilience.

A Nation on Guard, A Promise of Resolve

The Wana Cadet College attack underpins a gruesome reality that foreign hands continue to nourish terrorism. At the same time, it renews the Pakistani people’s resolve to safeguard the motherland, the nation, and their institutions.

The attack may have scarred the walls of a college, but it has re-ignited a familiar spirit of resistance-one that refuses to bow to terror. Under Azm-e-Istehkam, Pakistan marches forward, resolute in its promise to eliminate every trace of extremism that threatens its peace and progress.
