On the 21st day of release, ‘Pushpa 2’ is projected to earn more than INR 14 crore, highlighting the stark contrast in performance.
Director Kalees and Varun Dhawan’s Recent Box Office Struggles
Directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee, ‘Baby John movie’ is a remake of Atlee’s Tamil hit ‘Theri’, which starred Vijay. Despite Atlee’s growing brand after the success of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’, the film’s reception has been underwhelming. This follows a pattern of underperformance for Dhawan, whose recent films like ‘Bhediya’ and ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ also failed to meet expectations.
