The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the Men’s ODI Team of the Year. The team includes three players from Pakistan.
ICC Men’s ODI Team of the Year
The ICC Men’s ODI Team of the Year also features three players from Afghanistan, one from the West Indies, and four from Sri Lanka. Surprisingly, no Indian player has made it to the ODI Team of the Year.
From Pakistan, Saim Ayub, Shaheen Afridi, and Haris Rauf have been included in the ICC’s prestigious ODI Team of the Year. Other players in the lineup are Kusal Mendis, Charith Asalanka, Shai Hope, Azmatullah Omarzai, Wanindu Hasaranga, and AM Ghazanfar.
Sri Lanka’s Charith Asalanka has been appointed as the captain of the ODI Team of the Year. The team reflects outstanding performances in ODI cricket.

- Pathum Nissanka (Sri Lanka)
- Kusal Mendis (Sri Lanka) – Wicketkeeper
- Charith Asalanka (Sri Lanka) – Captain
- Sherfane Rutherford (West Indies)
- Azmatullah Omarzai (Afghanistan)
- Wanindu Hasaranga (Sri Lanka)
- Shaheen Shah Afridi (Pakistan)
- Haris Rauf (Pakistan)
- AM Ghazanfar (Afghanistan)
