Liz Cambage Finds Success on OnlyFans After WNBA Exit

Liz Cambage, a former four-time WNBA All-Star, ended her basketball career in 2022 following a mutual decision with the Los Angeles Sparks to part ways. Cambage had signed a one-year contract worth $170,000 in February 2022, but chose to explore new opportunities outside of professional basketball.

Soon after, the Australian basketball star turned to OnlyFans, where she achieved significant financial success. Cambage reportedly earned more in her first week on the platform than she had throughout her entire WNBA career. This shift allowed her to tap into a new revenue stream that surpassed her earnings from the WNBA.

Cambage’s move to OnlyFans was not solely motivated by money. She also saw it as a way to express a different side of herself. “Basketball was a part of me, but it wasn’t all of me,” she shared. On the platform, Cambage posts fashion-forward, artistic, and suggestive content that reflects her love for modeling and creativity, showing a side of herself beyond the court.

Her success on OnlyFans has brought attention to the ongoing pay disparities in professional sports, especially when comparing WNBA salaries with those in the NBA. During her highest-earning season in the WNBA, Cambage earned $221,450, which highlights the stark pay gap between the two leagues. In contrast, Cambage now earns over $1.5 million annually through her OnlyFans career.

While Cambage has stepped away from the WNBA, she remains focused on building her personal brand. “I’m not closing any doors, but right now, I’m focusing on building something new,” she says, as she continues to find success beyond basketball.
