Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Barrister Gohar Khan announced that the party is set to engage in the third round of talks with the government. Speaking outside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, Khan revealed that PTI founder Imran Khan had instructed the party to submit their demands in writing to the government.
Gohar khan emphasized that although PTI may not be able to meet directly with Imran Khan during these negotiations, the party remains committed to continuing talks. However, Khan made it clear that if the negotiation committee is denied access to Imran Khan in future rounds, the party will reassess the situation.
Khan also highlighted that PTI has two main demands that do not require written documentation, stressing that these are not part of any deal-making process. Both PTI and Imran Khan have rejected any claims of a deal, reaffirming that the ongoing discussions are focused solely on the nation’s benefit. The talks will center around the formation of a commission and the release of PTI workers.
