ISLAMABAD: Babar Awan, the senior counsel and leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has announced that the organization’s founder, Imran Khan, will not engage in any transactions or leave the country. He has also emphasized that the public’s vote was the deciding factor in their victory.
Awan emphasized that the protest on November 24 would be the organization’s concluding demonstration while speaking to the media outside the Islamabad High Court (IHC). He also emphasized that every citizen had the right to take to the streets to demand justice.
Awan also criticized the government for its efforts to prevent PTI from entering Islamabad, advising government employees to concentrate on their responsibilities.
Babar Awan expressed apprehension about the country’s escalating crime rates, which he claimed had been disregarded by the authorities. The senior PTI leader outlined the party’s demands for the upcoming protest, which include the release of Imran Khan, the return of the “stolen mandate,” and opposition to the proposed 26th Amendment to the Constitution.
Awan urged PTI members and employees to maintain their resolve and not surrender in the face of adversity. Additionally, he disapproved of the government’s incapacity to oversee the law and order situation across the nation.
Moreover, Awan disclosed that Imran Khan, the founder of PTI, and his wife, Bushra Bibi, have decided to distribute party ballots for the upcoming election based on the performance of party leaders during the protest.
