“Exams cancel ho jaenge kya?”
This is the most repeated question in classrooms, study groups, and WhatsApp chats across Pakistan right now. With reports circulating about a possible military attack by India, the uncertainty has left students in a state of confusion and anxiety.
Early Wednesday, Pakistan’s Information Minister warned about “credible intelligence” suggesting India might carry out a strike within the next 36 hours. Since then, the headlines have been non-stop—and so has the worry.
While the government hasn’t said anything about postponing exams, the fear is very real, especially for those living in border areas or cities with strategic importance.
We’ve seen in the past how tensions between India and Pakistan have disrupted daily life—schools shut down, roads blocked, even communication lines affected. So, it’s no surprise that students are concerned this time too.
But here’s the truth:
📌 There’s no official announcement about paper cancellation yet.
📌 Educational boards are silent for now, which means exams are still on as per schedule.
However, if the situation takes a sharp turn—God forbid—the authorities might be forced to take emergency measures, and that could include delaying or cancelling papers in affected regions.
So what should students do right now?
Don’t panic. Keep studying. Keep checking your board’s website or trusted news sources. And most importantly, don’t believe every forwarded message or social media post.
Yes, the situation is serious, and yes, things feel uncertain. But until anything official is said, it’s better to stay calm and carry on.
We hope and pray that things don’t escalate further. But if they do, rest assured, the safety of students will be a top priority.
Stay strong, stay prepared — and stay hopeful.
