Regal Automobiles Industries Limited made history when they showed off the Regal Automobiles Regal Automobiles Seres 3, which was the first electric SUV in the country.
The big event took place at the Regal Automobiles plant on Multan Road in Lahore. It was a big step forward for Pakistan’s auto industry and its move toward green electric transportation. The event changed the way the country tried to save energy and cut down on its carbon footprint.
A 54 kWh lithium-ion battery and a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) make up the Seres 3. With a single charge (NEDC cycle), the Seres 3 can go up to 403 km, which is a long way. It has 156 hp of power and 280 Nm of torque, and it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds. The Seres 3 focuses on high efficiency. It uses DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 0% to 80% in just 40 minutes. Inside, the Seres 3 offers ample space, a 10.25-inch tablet, and numerous high-tech entertainment options.
It also has great safety features, like advanced driver assist systems (ADAS) that help the driver stay in their lane. Avoid crashes, and safely go down hills. CEO of Regal Automobiles, Mr. Adeel Usman, said at the event, “The launch of the Seres 3 makes us and the whole country happy.” This is the first electric SUV made in Pakistan.
