KARACHI: (SBP) The State Bank’s foreign exchange reserves increased by $31 million to $12.081 billion during the week ending on December 13.
The reserves have been increasing as a result of the inflows from donor agencies and the purchase of dollars from the interbank market.
By the conclusion of fiscal year 2025, the government intends to increase the SBP reserves to $13 billion. The nation’s total reserves amounted to $16.632 billion, with $4.551 billion of that amount being held by banks.
