Kia is debuting two adventurous off-road concept vehicles at the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas: the EV9 ADVNTR and PV5 WKNDR. These concepts, based on the all-electric EV9 SUV and upcoming PV5 electric van, highlight the potential for electric vehicles that blend versatility, utility, and sustainability.
The EV9 ADVNTR is an off-road-ready version of Kia’s flagship electric SUV. Featuring a lifted suspension, reinforced body panels, and rugged all-terrain tires. It also includes roof racks for extra storage and a matte sand-colored finish.
The PV5 WKNDR is a camper-style concept built on the PV5 electric van platform. It includes off-road enhancements like a suspension lift, solar panels, and hydro turbine wheels for recharging. The van’s battery powers features such as an onboard air compressor. Inside, the PV5 WKNDR is equipped with a “Gear Head” storage unit.
