Mannat Set for Major Maintenance Work
The move comes as the family prepares to vacate their iconic sea-facing bungalow, Mannat, in Mumbai. Known as a fan-favorite landmark, Mannat will be undergoing essential renovation and maintenance work. While the upgrades take place, the Khans will be shifting to a temporary home.
Inside the Shah Rukh Khan Family’s Temporary Residence
According to reports, the family has opted for a luxurious, though more compact, alternative. They will temporarily reside in two duplex apartments located in Puja Casa, an upscale building in Pali Hill, Khar—just 3 km from Mannat. Though smaller than Mannat’s sprawling 27,000 sq ft space, the new residence covers an impressive 10,500 sq ft.
Leased from the Bhagnani Family
The temporary apartments have been leased from actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani and his father, veteran film producer Vashu Bhagnani. The lease, which began on April 1, 2025, runs for 36 months. The monthly rents for the units are Rs 11.54 lakh and Rs 12.61 lakh, respectively.
New Living Experience After 20 Years
For the first time in over two decades, the Khan family will have neighbors, as the leased duplexes span the 1st, 2nd, 7th, and 8th floors of the building. Puja Casa—co-owned by the Bhagnani family—is named after Vashu Bhagnani’s wife, Pooja Bhagnani.
Despite the change in residence, the Khans remain close to their original neighborhood. The short distance to Mannat ensures they stay connected to their roots during this temporary phase.
