 Air Link Communication Limited has announced a strategic partnership with global technology leader Acer Gadget Inc. to assemble and distribute Acer’s e10 series of laptops, tablets, and all-in-one devices in Pakistan.
In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday, Air Link, one of Pakistan’s largest manufacturers and distributors of smartphones, confirmed that it had secured exclusive distribution rights and entered into an assembling agreement with Acer’s manufacturing partner, Shanghai Sixunited Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd. Air Link’s Lahore facility assembled these devices as part of the collaboration.
The partnership is a significant move in Air Link’s commitment to promoting the “Made in Pakistan” initiative and aims to enhance the country’s technology sector by offering consumers affordable, high-quality devices.
A private limited company Air Link Communication founded in January 2014, and in April 2019 it was converted into a public limited company. The company specializes in the import, export, distribution, and retail of communication and IT products, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and accessories.
