A Journey of Despair and Hope-Jordanian citizen returns home!
Imagine dropping a cherished one for nearly 4 decades, no longer understanding their fate, and unexpectedly being reunited. From Vanished to Found: The Mystery Unravelled
In 1986, Osama Bashir, then age 18, disappeared without any trace. For years the family lived in anguish unaware if he was ever seen dead or alive. Their unbroken hope finally yielded when the Foreign Ministry of Jordan announced Osama had been found in Syria. According to Sufyan Al-Kudat, spokesman for the ministry, Osama was found in Damascus in a dithery country with considerable forgetfulness.
The Long Road Back to Jordan
After years of uncertainty, Osama’s return was once facilitated via the Jordanian authorities. He was once transported from Damascus to the Jaber border crossing, the place he used to be passed over to Jordanian border guards. The second of his homecoming on Tuesday morning was once one of sheer emotional remedy and pleasure for his family.
A New Beginning for Osama Bashir
While Osama’s ordeal has been kept largely in the dark, his reunion with his household is a new beginning for him. His story is proof of resilience, the family bond that does not crack, and hope triumphing over hopelessness.
