In the first three months of the fiscal year 2024–2025, Pakistan’s sports goods exports grew by 2.13% over the same period last year.
The country exported goods worth $93.087 million between July and September 2024, up from $91.148 million during the same period in 2023, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
Football exports increased by 1.95% among the different sports products, from $55.260 million in 2023 to $56.338 million in 2024. Glove exports also increased significantly, increasing from $14.636 million to $15.795 million, a 7.92% rise.
Other sports product exports, on the other hand, fell 1.40% from $21.252 million to $20.954 million this year.
In September 2024, sports goods exports totaled $31.104 million, down from $31.705 million in September 2023, representing a 1.90% year-over-year decline.
Football exports fell 9.76% in September, while glove exports increased 24.74%, and other sports goods witnessed a slight gain of 0.25%.
Furthermore, goods exports decreased by 4.66% month over month in September 2024 from $32.624 million in August 2024.
