Keeping Winter Chill at Bay for Children
A new welfare initiative has been set up by the Punjab authorities aimed at fighting severe wintry weather conditions in schools. It will dispense quintessential wintry weather clothing for 21,000 authority college students from January 13. These students are enrolled in authority colleges in Lahore, Narowal, Rajanpur, and Layyah.
A Well-Thought Plan Supported through Relevant Departments
This initiative, under my personal supervision guided by the Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, is being conducted in collaboration with the Department of Bait-ul-Mal and the Social Welfare Department. The application is going to provide the teenagers with sweaters, coats, shoes, and uniforms to ensure that they remain warm and healthy throughout the winter months. The government has already finalized the listing of colleges taking part in the program, making sure that the help reaches the college students who want it the most.
Winter Vacations Extended to Benefit Students
In mild of the extreme climate conditions, the Punjab Education Department has revised the iciness holiday schedule. The holidays, at the start set to quit earlier, will now prolong till January 10. Schools will reopen on January 13, following the fashionable weekend ruin on January eleven and 12. This extension aligns with the government’s effort to prioritize the fitness and protection of college students for the duration of this bloodless season.
